The IT recruitment team at Myticas Consulting is looking for an experienced Agile Project Manager, who would be interested in a long-term contract opportunity within the Ottawa region.
The individual will be managing expectations and stakeholder requirements across multiple IT streams(both strategic and transformational).
The Project Manager will be responsible for defining the project requirements and managing all project work during each process of the project lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling and close-out.
The Project Manager is accountable to delivering the identified project objectives on time and within budget. The incumbent is responsible for identifying project resource requirements and for managing the project work as a matrixed reporting structure.
The Project Manager is also responsible for identifying stakeholder and managing the stakeholder engagement.
Mandatory skills include:
- 10+ years of project management experience with a solid record of delivering quality project outcomes within the defined scope, time and cost parameters
- Project management certification is required, i.e. Project Management Professional (PMP), or Agile certification, etc.
- Must have experience in leading teams and managing deliverables in a matrixed environment; delivering automation solutions combined with business process improvement initiatives
- Strong understanding of application development and systems development lifecycle methodologies
