The recruitment team at Myticas Consulting is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist who would be interested in a contract opportunity offered within the Mettawa, IL region.
Job Details:
The Accounts Payable Analyst interfaces with our outsourced Accounts Payable team, Sr. Accounts Payable Analyst, Accounts Payable Associate, Global Process Owner, internal customers, our vendors and the Accounts Payable Manager. Its main role is to ensure that vendor invoice processing is timely, accurate and complete, in compliance with the DOAs and the internal procedures.
The Accounts Payable Analyst investigates, analyses and solves invoice and reconciliation issues; delegates processing to offshore team members; ensures that procedures are being followed and assists with training opportunities when needed. This role is responsible to maintain the AP process standards, to minimize process variances and exceptions and to drive and support business efficiencies.
Requirements:
Minimum education required: Bachelor’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is Preferred
- 3+ years of SAP Accounts Payable experience
- 1+ years of Coupa experience
- 5+ years of experience in Accounts Payable cycle
- Proven track record of training and motivating employees
- Prior management experience preferred
- Well-organized, high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to consistently meet all deadlines
- Strong communication skills
- Data analysis
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities
- Ability to foster a positive, collaborative team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel – intermediate level)
- Experience with Purchasing/AP integrate ERP – SAP
