Clover Consulting (a Myticas Co.) has as direct client in need of a Capacity Planning Analyst for a direct hire, Hybrid role in Grand Rapids, MI. 

This position is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days per week on-site in Grand Rapids, MI 49504. The remaining workdays can be completed remotely, providing a flexible balance between in-office collaboration and remote work convenience.

Description

The Capacity Planning Analyst is responsible for developing and implementing an effective capacity and production planning strategy that supports the company’s growth objectives. This role leads and collaborates with various departments to create and execute a production plan that aligns with overall business goals while ensuring optimal utilization of resources. 

 

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Demonstrate the Core Values in daily execution of tasks and interactions with others.
  • Develop and maintain capacity planning models, analyze data, and make recommendations to improve production efficiency and optimize resource utilization. 
  • Collaborate with sales, operations, and planning teams to create and implement a production plan that aligns with financial goals and customer demand. 
  • Monitor production schedules, capacity utilization, and inventory levels to identify risks and opportunities that impact the production plan and adjust the plan accordingly. 
  •  Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to capacity planning, including production output, resource utilization, and inventory levels, and provide regular reporting to leadership.  
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production efficiency, reduce lead times, and improve supply chain performance. 
  • Identify areas of improvement around data management for production batching through procurement demand triggers 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product launches, promotions, and other demand-generating activities. 
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to production planning, including health and safety regulations, labor laws, and environmental regulations. 

REQUIRED:  

  •  Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations management, or related field. 
  • 3+ years of experience in capacity planning, production planning, or supply chain management 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. 
  • Strong knowledge of production planning and capacity planning processes and methodologies. 
  • Experience with ERP systems, forecasting tools, and other supply chain software. 
  • Familiarity with safety, quality, and regulatory standards related to capacity planning and manufacturing operations.
