Top 3-5 Skills/Experience Managers Looking for:
- PM Software Development experience
- PM Process/Tools experience: Microsoft Project, Clarity and understanding of the PPM framework in PMO environment.
- Expertise in standard Project Management skills (Schedule management, resource management, scope management, risk management, financial management)
- Organized
- Sense of urgency
- Good communication skills
Nice to have:
- Manufacturing GxP Processes
- Pharma Manufacturing business experience
- PMP Certification
Job Description:
Ensure budgets and forecasts stays consistent to Business and BTS budgets and be able to identify areas to explore across multiple funding sources
Understands impacts and working with PM’s to align with budget/actuals/LBE’s
Coordinates and monitors the scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of company programs.
Ensures adherence to master plans and schedules, develops solutions to program problems, and directs work of incumbents assigned to program from various departments.
Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Acts as advisor to program team regarding projects, tasks, and operations.
Experience/Knowledge/Skills:
- Prior work experience in a PMO for a health and life science organization greatly preferred
- Experience managing large, cross functional projects required
- Experience managing financials across a large portfolio greatly preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication required
- Experience in Microsoft Applications (PPT, Excel, Word, etc…) required
- Requires a bachelor’s degree and at least the 4-7 years of experience in the field.
- PMP and ITIL certifications nice to have but not required
