Job Title: Local Senior .NET Developer (Hybrid Contract)

Job Summary:
Myticas’ direct client is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to support the Indiana Department of Health in analyzing existing applications and developing a new web-based application. The developer will collaborate with project managers, developers, business analysts, and functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with technical and functional teams to understand business requirements, processes, and industry standards.
- Develop technical specifications based on conceptual designs and business needs.
- Utilize object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and best practices for design, development, unit testing, and deployment.
- Write, test, and maintain high-quality code using Microsoft .NET Framework, MVC, and C#.
- Work with the Project Manager to maintain project plans and meet deadlines.
- Prototype, refine, test, and debug applications based on user feedback and project requirements.
- Work independently with minimal supervision while engaging with external partners and stakeholders as needed.
- Ensure that application designs align with agency web application architecture and business objectives.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years of experience with ASP.NET.
- 5+ years of experience with C# and MVC framework.
- 5+ years of experience analyzing and addressing security-related issues in multi-language applications.
- 5+ years of experience working with Oracle databases.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills:
- Healthcare EDI experience.
- Expert-level understanding of SDLC.
- Current experience with Web Services.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to solve complex programming challenges.
- Previous experience in the healthcare industry.
