About the Role:
We are seeking a Data Engineer who is equally proficient in data engineering and AI model deployment. This role requires a strong foundation in Python (Non-Negotiable), expertise in AWS cloud services. The ideal candidate will design, build, and optimize end-to-end ML workflows, from data ingestion and preprocessing to deploying LLM-driven AI solutions.
This individual is not just collaborating with data engineers—they are the data engineer and AI engineer on the team.
They will work closely with:
- Data Scientists & Web Analytics Team for Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) integration.
- Content Marketing Team for managing LLM responses and AI-driven content personalization.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Engineering & Pipeline Development
- Design and implement scalable ETL pipelines for ML model training and inference.
- Manage structured and unstructured data to support AI workflows.
- Optimize data storage, retrieval, and processing workflows using AWS (Glue, Athena, S3, Lambda, Step Functions).
- Ensure data governance, security, and compliance across ML pipelines.
Cloud & Infrastructure Management
- Deploy and scale ML models efficiently using AWS services (SageMaker, EC2, Glue, CloudWatch, CloudTrail).
- Create and manage IAM roles to ensure secure model access and execution.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and ML workflow orchestration using Terraform (good to have experience).
- Leverage serverless architectures and cloud-native solutions to optimize cost and performance.
Collaboration & AI Strategy
- Partner with Web Analytics & Data Science teams to integrate AI-driven insights into Customer Journey Analytics (CJA).
- Work with Content Marketing teams to manage LLM-generated responses and enhance AI-driven marketing automation.
- Conduct AI model evaluation and A/B testing to refine performance.
- Stay up to date with emerging AI trends and cloud innovations to drive continuous improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Strong Python skills (Non-Negotiable), with expertise in PyTorch, Scikit-learn.
- Deep understanding of data engineering principles: ETL, feature engineering, and data preprocessing.
- Experience building ML pipelines and deploying models in production.
- Proficiency in AWS services: S3, Athena, Glue, Lambda, SageMaker, Step Functions, EC2.
- Experience designing and managing IAM roles & security policies.
- Knowledge of MLOps best practices: CI/CD, model monitoring, retraining automation.
