Job Overview:
Our client, client in the mining industry, is seeking a Test Lead for an Oracle Fusion ERP and HCM implementation across Canada and the U.S. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in test leadership, managing SIT and UAT testing phases, and ensuring high-quality testing deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of testers, ensuring best practices in testing.
- Develop comprehensive test plans, test strategies, and testing schedules.
- Oversee the creation and execution of test cases, test scripts, and test data.
- Manage and execute SIT and UAT testing, ensuring quality assurance at every stage.
- Track, document, and communicate defects, coordinating resolutions with development teams.
- Conduct daily status calls and provide regular reports on testing progress and defects.
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, and stakeholders to align testing objectives.
- Identify and implement process improvements in testing methodologies.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of software testing experience, with at least 3 projects as a Test Lead.
- Hands-on experience leading Oracle Fusion ERP & HCM testing.
- Proven ability to lead SIT and UAT testing phases for large-scale implementations.
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, automation tools, and best practices.
- Experience with JIRA and Octane for test and defect management.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to drive testing deliverables.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- ISTQB or CSTE certification (preferred).
