Our GTA client is seeking a Senior Manager – SAP Finance Lead to oversee large-scale SAP transformation initiatives within the financial services sector for a long term HYBRID engagement. This role is ideal for a senior consultant or manager with deep SAP Finance expertise and proven leadership across full lifecycle implementations in regulated environments. The ideal candidate is a Finance-savvy SAP Project Manager — someone who combines S/4HANA Finance functional understanding, strong client-facing leadership, and enterprise program management discipline to drive transformation outcomes — not just deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage SAP Finance projects within the financial services domain, ensuring delivery quality and adherence to timelines.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional business and IT teams to define project scope, deliverables, and success metrics.

  • Provide expert guidance on SAP best practices and finance solutions tailored to industry requirements.

  • Oversee design, configuration, and integration across core Finance (FI/CO), Treasury, and Group Reporting.

  • Mentor and guide delivery teams, fostering knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

  • Stay current with SAP S/4HANA Finance advancements and industry regulatory changes.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, IT, Business Administration, or related discipline (MBA preferred).

  • 8+ years of SAP delivery experience with a focus on Finance modules (FI, CO, GL, AR/AP, Asset Accounting).

  • Strong experience in financial services or banking environments.

  • Proven record in leading large-scale SAP implementations and transformations.

  • Deep understanding of financial processes, compliance, and reporting requirements.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Familiarity with SAP Finance integration to Treasury and Group Reporting preferred.

  • SAP certification is an asset.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA (Finance, Treasury, or Group Reporting).

  • Exposure to integration with 3rd-party financial systems and regulatory reporting tools.
