We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Architect to design and implement robust technology architectures, frameworks, and strategies that align with business objectives and application requirements. The successful candidate will evaluate solutions, ensure integration across systems, and provide leadership in adopting emerging technologies, while mentoring and guiding teams to build sustainable and scalable solutions. This role requires Canadian Government Secret Clearance at minimum.
Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Strategy: Develop technical architectures, frameworks, and strategies to address organizational and major application needs.

Policy Alignment: Identify and interpret the policies, standards, and requirements that influence solution design.

Solution Evaluation: Analyze and assess alternative technology solutions to determine the most effective approach to business challenges.

Integration Leadership: Ensure seamless integration of all components within technology solutions.

Trend Monitoring: Stay current with industry and government technology trends to align solutions with evolving directions.

Innovation & Emerging Tech: Provide insight, direction, and support for the adoption of emerging technologies.

Impact Analysis: Conduct impact assessments of proposed technology changes on systems and operations.

Support & Guidance: Collaborate with application development and technical support teams to ensure optimal use of infrastructure.

Standards & Performance: Review application and infrastructure designs for compliance with standards, recommending enhancements for performance and scalability.

Executive Communication: Assist in the preparation of materials and deliver presentations to senior leadership as required.

Mentorship & Collaboration: Coach, mentor, and collaborate with colleagues to enhance organizational capability in architecture and solution development.
Qualifications

Proven experience as a Technical Architect, Solutions Architect, or related senior technical role.

Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, IT standards, and best practices.

Expertise in analyzing complex business problems and designing scalable technology solutions.

Familiarity with emerging technologies, cloud computing, integration platforms, and IT governance.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience influencing senior leadership.

Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, and collaborate effectively across teams.

Must hold active Canadian Government Secret Clearance.
