Our client is looking for a QA developer for a hybrid contract to support a new mobile/web app page rollout for a major Canadian bank. You’ll plan test strategy and execute manual + automated testing across UI, API, and responsive layers, ensuring accessibility and quality for a fast-moving product build.
Project Background

New concept for the bank’s mobile app is ready for implementation.

You’ll help plan the implementation and validate features/functionality that will live on the new mobile/web app page.
Responsibilities

Define and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases (manual & automated).

Perform API testing, web responsive testing, regression, and accessibility checks (WCAG).

Create automation scripts; integrate with CI workflows; log/track defects and drive resolution.

Partner with product, design, and engineering in an Agile/Scrum environment; report test outcomes.
Required Qualifications (4–5+ years)

Hands-on manual & automation testing (UI + API).

Web responsiveness testing; solid test strategy creation and execution.

Accessibility (WCAG) testing exposure.

Familiar with GitHub Copilot or similar AI coding tools.

Comfortable across the SDLC (design ? planning ? execution).
