Our client in the insurance sector is seeking an Azure Developer with strong IAM migration experience, specifically migrating identity platforms from Salesforce IAM to Azure ENTRA External.

This is a senior, hands-on role requiring deep expertise in IAM technologies, cloud security, and migration strategy execution. The developer will collaborate with business, security, and IT stakeholders while designing and delivering a secure, scalable identity platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the migration of the IAM platform from Salesforce IAM ? Azure ENTRA External

  • Design and execute secure, scalable IAM architecture

  • Integrate Azure ENTRA External with applications, systems, and third-party services

  • Implement best practices for identity governance, MFA, conditional access, and access control

  • Collaborate with business/security/IT teams on requirements and progress updates

  • Troubleshoot complex IAM issues throughout the migration

  • Maintain technical documentation (architecture, configurations, processes)

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience with Azure ENTRA External, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Conditional Access, Identity Governance

  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce IAM and its integration points

  • Deep understanding of OAuth 2.0, SAML, SCIM, OpenID Connect (OIDC)

  • Proven IAM migration experience — ideally Salesforce ? Azure

  • Familiarity with Zero Trust, RBAC, and cloud security best practices

  • Strong communication and ability to manage project timelines
