Our Toronto client, in the Banking industry, is seeking an experienced IBM Technology Developer for a HYBRID contract, to support the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade solutions within a banking environment. This role requires strong expertise across the IBM technology stack, combined with exposure to AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and manage APIs using IBM API Connect
- Implement secure identity and access management solutions using IBM ISAM
- Develop and maintain IBM MDM solutions for enterprise data management
- Build and automate BPM workflows to optimize business processes
- Leverage AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to improve development efficiency and create reusable solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
- Produce technical design documentation for user stories and project deliverables
- Troubleshoot and debug solutions within the IBM ecosystem
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with IBM API Connect
- Expertise with IBM ISAM (Security Access Manager)
- Proven experience with IBM MDM
- Experience developing BPM workflows
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot)
- Solid understanding of software development best practices
- Agile environment experience with strong communication skills
- Ability to create technical documentation and designs
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with IBM Sterling FileX (or similar file transfer tools)
- Familiarity with IBM Filenet (or similar ECM tools)
- Knowledge of AI/ML tools and frameworks
- Experience with IBM Cloud or AWS
- Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
- Prior mentoring or technical leadership experience
