Our Toronto based client is seeking an experienced ITOM ServiceNow Developer to support a large-scale IT Operations modernization initiative. This program focuses on implementing ServiceNow ITOM capabilities, including Event Management, Discovery, and Service Mapping, to replace legacy monitoring tools and enhance operational visibility, automation, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support end-to-end implementation of ServiceNow Event Management
  • Contribute to Discovery and Service Mapping aligned with ITOM strategy
  • Lead development activities and own delivery of user stories
  • Participate in and help lead technical design workshops with stakeholders
  • Integrate multiple data sources into ServiceNow ITOM modules
  • Ensure adherence to ServiceNow development standards and best practices
  • Provide guidance and thought leadership on ITOM solutions

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Strong ServiceNow development experience (JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS)
  • Deep expertise in ITOM modules: Event Management, Discovery, Service Mapping
  • Hands-on experience with CMDB design and maintenance
  • Experience with integrations (REST/SOAP APIs)
  • Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure, AWS) and hybrid infrastructure
  • Knowledge of automation/orchestration frameworks

Certifications:

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – required
  • Certified Implementation Specialist (ITOM) – strongly preferred
  • Additional ITOM-related certifications (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Mgmt, IntegrationHub) are an asset

Additional Notes:

  • Must be available for in-person workshops in the GTA
  • Strong communication skills required for client-facing interactions
