Our Ottawa based client is looking for a Senior Azure Integration Developer to support enterprise application integration initiatives. The ideal consultant will bring strong hands-on Azure development experience, cloud architecture knowledge, and the ability to design secure, scalable integration solutions across complex environments.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement application integrations using Azure services
• Build solutions leveraging Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Azure Data Factory
• Develop APIs and workflows enabling communication between internal and external systems
• Implement ETL/ELT processes and cloud-based data movement solutions
• Develop automation and integration solutions using Python
• Design secure Azure architectures including VNets, private endpoints, hub-spoke models, private DNS, and hybrid connectivity
• Implement logging, monitoring, security, and performance best practices
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools
• Automate deployments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), including Bicep
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing Azure integration solutions
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, data engineers, and technical teams
• Provide technical guidance and recommendations on Azure best practices

Required Skills:

• Senior-level Azure development and integration experience
• Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Azure Functions
  • Azure Logic Apps
  • Azure Data Factory
  • Azure DevOps / CI-CD
  • REST APIs and integration patterns
  • Python development
• Experience designing Azure networking solutions:
  • VNets
  • Private Endpoints
  • Hub-Spoke architecture
  • Private DNS
  • Hybrid connectivity
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Bicep preferred)
• Strong understanding of cloud security, monitoring, and scalability best practices
• Ability to work with cross-functional technical and business teams

Nice to Have:

• Healthcare or regulated industry experience
• Experience mentoring developers or acting as a technical advisor
