Our client is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Asset Accounting (FI-AA) Functional Consultant to support a large-scale SAP S/4HANA Finance transformation. The successful consultant will work closely with finance and business stakeholders to design, configure, implement, and support SAP Asset Accounting solutions within an enterprise S/4HANA environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements related to Asset Accounting (FI-AA)
• Configure SAP FI-AA including:
  • Asset Classes
  • Depreciation Areas
  • Chart of Depreciation
  • Valuation Methods
  • Asset Master Data
• Support full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations and rollouts
• Ensure integration with FI, CO, MM, PM and PS
• Design and support the complete asset lifecycle including acquisitions, capitalization, transfers, depreciation, retirements and asset disposals
• Support Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, cutover and go-live activities
• Assist with legacy asset migration into SAP S/4HANA
• Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement recommendations
• Develop functional specifications and project documentation

Required Experience

• 5–10+ years SAP FI / Asset Accounting experience
• Strong SAP S/4HANA FI-AA configuration experience
• Multiple full lifecycle SAP implementations
• S/4HANA migration or transformation project experience
• Strong understanding of:
  • Fixed Asset Accounting
  • Depreciation
  • Asset Valuation
  • Financial Reporting
• Experience integrating FI-AA with FI, CO, MM, PM and PS
• Experience with SAP IMG configuration
• Data migration experience
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Preferred

• SAP S/4HANA Finance Certification
• Experience within large enterprise transformation programs
