In this critical role, you will play a key part in maintaining financial integrity through accurate journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting, supporting business divisions across diverse markets. Key Responsibilities:
- Meet deadlines and achieve operational goals with precision
- Engage actively in the month-end close and reporting processes in alignment with corporate schedules
- Ensure all transactions are recorded and reported accurately and timely
- Investigate, resolve, or escalate discrepancies independently
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual reconciliations of general ledger, AP, AR, and bank accounts
- Maintain and update procedures, checklists, and supporting documentation
- Prepare detailed schedules and analyses for management review
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, providing thorough responses and support
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders by offering practical solutions
- Support process improvements and handle ad hoc requests with quality and efficiency
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of comprehensive accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a senior role
- Proven experience with revenue recognition processes
- Knowledge of SAP software is preferred
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs
- Eagerness to learn new skills and expand responsibilities
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working within global or shared services environments
- Familiarity with other accounting software tools
- Advanced Excel skills and process automation knowledge
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- 5-7 years in accounting, with a minimum of 3 years as a Senior Accountant
- Prior experience with revenue recognition and SAP
