The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Product & Pricing Consultant III to support the implementation of SaaS-based product and pricing solutions within banking and financial services.

In this senior functional consulting role, you will partner directly with customers to translate complex banking, product, and pricing requirements into scalable functional solutions. You will lead discovery and requirements activities, perform fit-gap analysis, guide functional solution design, and collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and implementation teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.

This position requires someone who can independently manage multiple projects or concurrent workstreams, build trusted customer relationships, and provide functional leadership and mentorship to junior consultants and team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead customer discovery sessions, requirements workshops, and functional discussions with business and technology stakeholders.
• Elicit, analyze, document, and validate complex business and functional requirements.
• Lead fit-gap analysis and recommend scalable solution approaches aligned with platform capabilities and customer objectives.
• Develop and oversee implementation deliverables including business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and test documentation.
• Configure and validate product and pricing solutions based on approved functional designs.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, implementation, and cross-functional teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Support Agile delivery through backlog refinement, sprint planning, prioritization, and functional clarification.
• Plan and support functional testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT), including defect analysis and resolution.
• Conduct solution demonstrations, customer training, and knowledge-transfer sessions.
• Independently manage functional activities and priorities across multiple projects or concurrent workstreams.
• Build strong customer relationships and serve as a trusted senior functional advisor.
• Identify and manage functional risks, dependencies, issues, and delivery priorities.
• Mentor junior consultants and team members, providing functional guidance, knowledge sharing, and support.
• Promote consistent delivery practices and contribute to continuous improvement across implementation teams.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• 8+ years of experience in Functional Consulting, Business Analysis, Solution Consulting, or a related role within Banking or Financial Services.
• Strong understanding of banking products and pricing, including areas such as deposits, lending, cards, fees, rates, offers, and/or relationship pricing.
• Demonstrated experience leading customer workshops, requirements gathering, business analysis, and fit-gap analysis.
• Experience translating complex business requirements into practical and scalable functional solutions.
• Experience preparing and owning implementation deliverables including functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and test scenarios.
• Experience implementing or supporting enterprise SaaS applications.
• Strong communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to independently manage multiple projects, workstreams, and competing priorities in a consulting or customer-facing environment.
• Experience providing mentorship, functional leadership, or guidance to junior team members.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of cloud concepts and Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
• Experience with REST APIs, enterprise integrations, and data mapping.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar collaboration and delivery tools.
