: Sharepoint/Office 365 Migration Engineer
Duration: 6 Months Contract with Possible Extension

Job Summary:

The End User Engineering job family focuses on providing business process workflow automation and improvement utilizing SharePoint, Power Automate, and other technology platforms. The Solutions Engineer provides complex analysis to a broad spectrum of stakeholders to design, develop, and implement, business process improvements using the Microsoft 365 Power Platform and SharePoint. The individual is a Power Suite expert that creates new or converts existing solutions within the Microsoft Power Suite. The individual identifies trends, performs research, gathers requirements, prepares written proposals, and presents recommendations to department staff and management and develops solutions. The level of work is generally considered intermediate and staff must be able to work under minimal supervision. This position has no direct reports.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develops and implements solutions using the Microsoft 365 suite of applications (i.e. SharePoint, PowerApps, Power Automate, Teams, and Power BI).

• Assists with rewriting current business process automation migrating into the Microsoft 365 Power Suite.

• Analyzes business problems, identifies, and articulates requirements to support system and process improvements and identifies alternative technical solutions.

• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards with data using visualization software like Tableau or Power BI

• Oversees the development, analysis, and implementation of new and existing solutions.

• Investigates, troubleshoots, and resolves complex technical issues.

• Generates ideas for process improvement initiatives and participates in control activities that establish, maintain and

• validate standards for the functional area.

• Draws on professional experiences and expertise to determine best practices and makes recommendations to improve current business practices; participates in efforts to make changes in business practices.

• Draws on professional experiences to develop, maintain, collect and distribute key materials such as project plans, tracking spreadsheets, metrics and/or documentation.

• Prepares and presents both orally and in written form, conclusions and recommendations concerning complex matters to internal and external stakeholders.

• Builds and maintains strategic work relationships and networks with both internal and external stakeholders, such as other

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field or equivalent work experience

• 3-5+ years of direct work-related experience

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Possesses a strong proficiency in SharePoint 2013 & SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, Power Apps, Power Automate, Teams, Project, Power BI.

• Familiarity with InfoPath and Nintex workflow development a plus.

• Microsoft 365/SharePoint workflow and process automation experience is required.

• Experience with SharePoint Migrations to SharePoint Online is highly preferred.

• Experience with PowerShell, SharePoint API, and SharePoint Framework (SPFx) development experience is helpful.

• Experience gathering and documenting requirements.

• Possesses the ability to understand risk focused supervision and processes.

• Demonstrates Business Analyst skills such as advanced analytical and problem solving.

• Demonstrates independent and critical thinking and decision-making abilities as well as have strong written and oral communication abilities.

• Ability to provide guidance and constructive feedback to less experienced staff and peers.
