Seeking an experienced Drupal Developer for a 1+ year remote contract opportunity. We need someone skilled in Drupal and other web content management system development. Responsibilities include enhancing, upgrading, or developing operational tools and business functionality for web content management systems. Other tasks include authentication and web services integrations, fixing defects, and expanding developer tools. Candidates should have at least five years of relevant experience and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders. Qualified candidates should also possess a fundamental understanding of web content management systems and have experience capturing business requirements and translating them into technical specifications. We'd also like someone with working experience with PHP, Javascript, HTML/CSS and database development experience with MySQL, SQL Server, OR Oracle
The ideal candidates will be part of a scrum team, working with product owners and managers to accomplish priorities. They will be responsible for developing components and leveraging community-built functionality where possible. Additionally, they should have experience in mentoring others, developing test plans and deployment procedures, conducting business analysis, and documenting work and changes to operating procedures. The candidates should also be able to transfer knowledge of service operations to appropriate staff.
