Job Title: SAP-SRM/Ariba Technical Lead / Business Systems Analyst (BSA)

Job Summary:
Myticas is seeking an experienced SAP-SRM/Ariba Technical Lead and Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to support Phase 0 analysis for applications in the R&D FinOps domain that integrate with SAP/SRM. This role is part of a hybrid engagement based in Lake County, IL.
The ideal candidate will oversee the design, development, and implementation of the SAP-SRM and Ariba architecture. This individual will ensure the solution aligns with business requirements, addresses integration across enterprise systems, and supports the complete source-to-pay procurement process.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Design:

Understand procurement processes including sourcing strategies, contract negotiation, and invoice management.

Analyze business requirements and pain points to design comprehensive SAP-SRM and Ariba architecture.

Ensure seamless integration with other enterprise systems.
Technical Expertise:

Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of SAP-SRM and Ariba modules, including:

Sourcing

Contract Management

Procurement

Supplier Management

Spend Analytics

Understand SAP technical architecture, data models, and integration technologies (e.g., APIs, web services, middleware).

Possess working knowledge of PL/SQL and familiarity with Salesforce.
Configuration and Customization:

Configure and customize SAP Ariba to align with specific business workflows, including UI design and data mapping.
Integration Management:
-
Design and implement integration between SAP Ariba and other systems such as SAP ECC/S4HANA, CRM, and third-party platforms.
Project Leadership:
-
Lead technical implementation projects for SAP-SRM and Ariba, including managing development teams and ensuring delivery of project milestones.
Additional Responsibilities:
-
Assess the application landscape in R&D FinOps and evaluate the impact of SRM replacement.

Expand Ariba knowledge to include applications like Tonkean and Coupa, focusing on their integration within the R&D ecosystem as part of Project Genesis.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand current workflows and integrations with SAP/SRM.

Document current and future-state workflows, identifying process and integration gaps.

Coordinate with the Robotic Process Automation (RPA) team to assess BOTS affected by the SRM replacement.
Day-to-Day Operations (BAU Support):

Execute and coordinate daily tasks to meet department and project objectives.

Conduct root cause analysis for complex issues.

Support application teams with demand management, incident resolution, and continuous improvement through innovative solutions.
Required Experience & Skills:
-
3–8 years of experience with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA MM procurement configuration.
-
Minimum 3 years of experience configuring one or more SAP-SRM and Ariba modules.
-
3+ years of hands-on experience with SAP-SRM and Ariba integration.
-
Strong understanding of SAP Ariba configuration and deployment.
-
Functional and technical expertise in SAP MM and its integration with modules like FI.
-
Involvement in at least one global rollout of SAP-SRM and/or Ariba across Americas, EMEA, and Asia.

Deep knowledge of the end-to-end source-to-pay process.
