Myticas’s direct client based out of Riverwoods, IL is currently seeking a SAP OTC Implementation Consultant for a Hybrid contract position.
Title: SAP OTC Implementation Consultant
Location: Riverwoods IL (Hybrid, to be onsite on Tuesday and Wednesday)
Duration: 6+ Months Contract (could potentially extend or convert to full time)
Basic Function:
- The principal Consultant will personally lead larger-scale SAP projects or programs to ensure execution is aligned and integrated with corporate strategies, plans, and initiatives, and keep management informed of key issues and changes which may impact expected business results
- This principal should have expertise in SAP Order to Cash
- The ideal candidate is a seasoned operations leader with a proven track record of building and delivering digital customer experiences and business transformation processes in a cloud software company.
The essential duties of the Principal Technology Architect include the following:
- Responsible for leading systems requirements delivery for initiatives covering SAP ECC ( FI, CO, OTC, P2P) & SAP BW, web, back office, data warehouse, reporting, business intelligence, and analytics platforms. He or She will have to work closely with Project Management, Design and Development, Quality Assurance, Production Support, and executives across various Business units.
- Bring subject matter expertise of SAP solutions in projects and enhancement discussions.
- Define the online digital experience by engaging deeply with our customers and leveraging the integration of SFDC and SAP.
- Directly define the SAP implementation strategy for the business, lead and implement the SAP governance framework, with a focus on improving program quality with a focus on standardization & transformation.
- Indirectly oversee and influence cross-functional teams accountable for the digital experience delivery and KPI definitions, including Account Services, Account Management, and AR functions.
- Accountable for the evolution and delivery of digital customer experiences which include identifying opportunities to transform solutions and the delivery of existing services and capabilities, managing external digital consumer experience vendors, and partnering with user design experience (UX) and user interface design (UI) teams.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with Executive staff within European TAA, as well as other client’s Divisions.
- Developing plans, monitoring, and managing internal non-technical large multifaceted projects from initiation through completion.
- Calling and leading project meetings as required.
- Ensures effective communication between technical and non-technical functions to monitor and report on project progress as needed.
- Interprets requirements, identifies and communicates project scope, and ensures program milestones are met.
- Manages projects to ensure on-time completion according to specifications and within budgeted costs.
- Identifying and alerting executives and project teams (directly and through staff) to potential problems and recommending solutions to those problems.
Job Qualification:
- BA degree/Master’s degree in Business Operations/Strategy, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related area of study.
- 15 years of relevant combined work experience in operations, business intelligence or information technology with deep expertise in establishing and optimizing Business functions and the related back-office systems including SAP
- Minimum 7 years of experience with SAP modules of Order to Cash
- Experience supporting a wide range of customers and partners, ranging from small firms to the largest enterprises in the world.
- Ability to work and interact with C level executives.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and work within tight deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
