Our client, a large Crown Corporation based in Ottawa, is seeking a Financial Analyst – D365 to support a Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP implementation and finance transformation initiative for a long term
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Finance, this role will support the transition, reconciliation, and deployment phases of D365, including data migration, system testing, financial reporting, and ongoing accounting operations.
This is a hybrid role requiring onsite presence three days per week.
Key Responsibilities

Support ERP transition from legacy system to Microsoft Dynamics 365, including:

Data migration validation and reconciliation
-
Parallel reporting support during deployment
-
System testing and financial integrity checks
-

Assist with month-end close processes:
-
Journal entries
-
Account reconciliations
-
Financial reporting
-
-
Prepare quarterly and annual financial statement notes and supporting schedules
-
Support annual external audit:
-
Audit schedules
-
Responding to audit inquiries
-
-
Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to educate and support evolving accounting policies and procedures

Identify and implement process improvements in financial reporting and internal controls
-
Support general accounting, revenue recognition, and operational cost reporting
-
Contribute to finance projects and reporting initiatives as assigned
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

CPA designation (Chartered Professional Accountant)

Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in:
-
Financial reporting under IFRS
-
Revenue recognition
-
Technical accounting
-
-
Strong knowledge of internal controls and business processes
-
Experience working with ERP systems
-
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Preferred / Asset Experience

Experience supporting or implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365

Experience managing change during ERP transformation

Strong analytical skills with attention to detail

Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely
