Our client is seeking experienced Front End Developers to support a digital banking platform enhancement initiative. The project involves upgrading existing features with significant front-end/UI changes while supporting backend integration activities.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and enhance modern front-end applications and user interfaces
  • Translate UI/UX designs into responsive, functional solutions
  • Implement front-end improvements as part of a platform upgrade initiative
  • Collaborate with backend teams to support integration and new functionality
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility, performance, and responsive design standards
  • Participate in Agile delivery activities and development best practices

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience in Front End/UI Development (Full Stack experience preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
    • Angular (preferred), React, or Vue.js
  • Backend development exposure with:
    • Node.js, Python, Java, or similar technologies
  • Experience integrating front-end applications with backend services/APIs
  • Strong understanding of responsive design and UI/UX best practices
  • Experience using Git/version control
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

  • Banking or financial services experience
  • Experience with digital banking platforms or customer-facing applications

Work Model: Hybrid – Toronto (2–3 days onsite per week)
