Our client is seeking an experienced GhostDraft Technical Lead to support a large-scale HYBRID Guidewire Cloud migration initiative in Toronto. The consultant will lead the migration of document production capabilities from SmartCOMM to GhostDraft as part of a Guidewire InsuranceSuite transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define migration strategy and overall technical solution architecture
  • Lead SmartCOMM to GhostDraft template migration, conversion, and optimization
  • Design and support integrations with Guidewire InsuranceSuite (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter)
  • Lead development activities, code reviews, and delivery governance
  • Ensure quality standards and best practices are followed
  • Manage technical risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communication
  • Collaborate with business, technical teams, vendors, and delivery leadership

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong hands-on GhostDraft experience
    • DOCX templates
    • Business rules
    • Document composition
  • Previous SmartCOMM migration experience
  • Experience integrating GhostDraft with Guidewire Cloud / InsuranceSuite
  • Strong technical leadership experience
  • Ability to define architecture and lead delivery teams
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to Have:

  • Insurance industry experience
  • Guidewire Cloud migration experience (GW v10.0 to Cloud preferred)
  • Experience working in large enterprise transformation programs
