Master Data Management (MDM) Solutions Architect | Syndigo / Riversand | PIM

Location: Toronto, ON (Onsite – Minimum 4 Days/Week)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced MDM Solutions Architect with deep Syndigo (formerly Riversand) expertise to lead the architecture, design, and delivery of enterprise Product Master Data Management (PIM/MDM) solutions. This is a hands-on consulting role requiring strong architecture, data modeling, integration, and client-facing experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver enterprise MDM/PIM solutions using Syndigo (Riversand)
• Design scalable master data models, governance frameworks, and solution architecture
• Lead MDM strategy, implementation, and rollout initiatives
• Work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project leadership
• Define solution architecture, implementation approach, and technical standards
• Design and review data models, object models, and solution components
• Provide architectural guidance for integrations with enterprise applications
• Support infrastructure design, environment planning, and performance optimization
• Participate in solution reviews, testing strategy, and technical governance
• Mentor technical teams and provide client-facing leadership throughout delivery

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of overall IT experience
• 5+ years delivering enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives
• 3+ years of hands-on Syndigo (Riversand) implementation experience (Required)
• 3+ years designing and maintaining enterprise data models
• Strong experience with Product Information Management (PIM)
• Experience with Data Governance, Data Quality, and Master Data architecture
• Experience integrating MDM platforms with enterprise systems
• Java/J2EE (or comparable object-oriented programming language)
• Strong SQL and relational database experience
• Experience delivering consulting or professional services engagements
• Previous technical leadership or Solution Architecture experience
• Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills
