Required Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in tax preparation preferred
- Proficiency in preparing entry-level U.S. federal and state individual and business tax returns
- College degree or equivalent education
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with tax software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and follow training diligently
Nice to Have Skills:
- Previous experience working onsite in a tax office setting
- Knowledge of additional tax accounting software
- Bilingual abilities are a plus
Preferred Education and Experience:
- College degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- At least 2 years of hands-on tax preparation experience
Other Requirements:
- This is a primarily onsite position requiring 20-40 hours per week, most likely leaning toward part-time during peak periods
- Reliable transportation to work onsite
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
