What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Develop clear, differentiated messaging and positioning for APIs, showcasing platform value to technical and business audiences alike.
  • Shape and promote the ecosystem narrative, positioning APIs as catalysts for innovation and growth.
  • Create and optimize API-focused content for discovery, usability, and engagement.
  • Support go-to-market strategies for API launches, enhancements, and integrations with scalable frameworks.
  • Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to understand API capabilities and craft engaging use cases.
  • Conduct market, customer, and competitive research within tax, accounting, and connected ecosystem domains.
  • Design and execute programs that boost API adoption, integrations, and partner ecosystem expansion.
  • Enable Sales and Customer Success teams with compelling API narratives, use cases, and technical materials.
  • Produce high-impact assets like integration playbooks, ecosystem value propositions, partner case studies, and sales enablement content.

Required Skills:

  • 3–5+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Developer Marketing, or Technical Marketing within a B2B SaaS or platform environment.
  • Proven expertise working with APIs, integrations, or platform ecosystems—preferably in enterprise or vertical SaaS sectors such as tax, accounting, or finance.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts (APIs, endpoints, authentication, workflows) into clear business value.
  • Experience supporting go-to-market initiatives for platform capabilities, APIs, or integrations.
  • Familiarity with developer ecosystems, API documentation tools, and integration frameworks.
  • Strong content creation skills for both developer and business audiences, balancing technical detail with strategic clarity.
  • Experience with competitive analysis around platform ecosystems and differentiation strategies.
  • Excellent collaboration skills across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Partnerships, and Customer Success.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Robust project management abilities to handle multiple product launches and cross-functional projects in a fast-paced setting.

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience with CRM systems, marketing automation, and data/analytics platforms.
  • Knowledge of API documentation tools and developer portal management.
  • Background in tax, accounting, finance, or related domains.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • 3–5+ years in product, developer, or technical marketing within SaaS or platform companies.
  • Demonstrated success in APIs, integrations, or platform ecosystem marketing.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment (Kennesaw office or remote EST hours for qualified candidates).
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously in a rapidly evolving landscape.
