Our Toronto area client is seeking an experienced QA Lead to support testing activities within a large-scale banking environment. The successful candidate will lead QA efforts, drive defect resolution, and ensure quality across data and application testing initiatives. This is a HYBID contract in TORONTO

Responsibilities:

  • Lead defect triage and drive timely resolution across stakeholders
  • Support test data creation and ensure environment readiness
  • Leverage test automation to improve coverage and efficiency
  • Provide QA status updates, risk assessments, and quality metrics

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of QA experience
  • Strong experience in banking/financial services environments
  • Experience across data transformation, integration, data warehouse, and application testing
  • Proven ability to develop and review test plans, test cases, and test reports with full traceability
  • Strong SQL skills for data validation and root cause analysis
  • Knowledge of banking / wealth management data domain
  • Exposure to AI-assisted testing is an asset
