Salesforce Program Architect (Public Sector Solutions / Agentforce)

About the Opportunity

Myticas Consulting is seeking an experienced Salesforce Program Architect to provide strategic technical leadership for a large-scale enterprise Salesforce transformation within the public sector. This individual will serve as the client’s primary technical authority, overseeing a multi-cloud Salesforce implementation delivered by a Systems Integrator (SI).

This is a highly visible leadership role requiring deep expertise in Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (PSS), Licensing, Permitting & Inspections (PS-LPI), Agentforce, and enterprise architecture governance. The successful candidate will partner with executive stakeholders, guide technical strategy, and ensure the implementation aligns with enterprise standards, security requirements, and business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the client-side technical authority responsible for reviewing, governing, and approving the Systems Integrator’s solution architecture, data model, integration strategy, and technical delivery.
• Define and maintain the enterprise Salesforce architecture roadmap across multiple Salesforce clouds while promoting the effective use of standard Public Sector Solutions capabilities.
• Lead architecture governance, technical design reviews, and solution quality assessments throughout the program lifecycle.
• Design and implement Agentforce autonomous AI solutions that enhance constituent engagement, automate internal business processes, and improve workforce productivity.
• Provide architectural leadership for Salesforce Public Sector Solutions Licensing, Permitting, and Inspections (PS-LPI), including regulatory workflows, application intake, inspections, fee management, permitting, compliance, and violation management.
• Design secure, scalable integrations between Salesforce and enterprise government systems while ensuring compliance with public sector security standards, including FedRAMP and NIST frameworks.
• Translate complex government business processes and regulatory requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions.
• Identify technical risks, recommend mitigation strategies, and ensure successful program delivery across multiple workstreams.
• Collaborate with executive leadership, business stakeholders, delivery teams, and vendor partners to establish technical direction and long-term platform strategy.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of enterprise Salesforce architecture experience designing and delivering large-scale Salesforce solutions.
• 3+ years serving as a Program Architect, Principal Architect, Technical Architect, or similar leadership role overseeing Systems Integrator (SI) delivery.
• Extensive hands-on experience implementing Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (PSS) within state, local, or federal government environments.
• Strong expertise with Salesforce Licensing, Permitting & Inspections (PS-LPI), including Business Regulatory Applications, inspection processes, and compliance management.
• Demonstrated experience designing and configuring Salesforce Agentforce agents, topics, actions, and autonomous service experiences.
• Advanced expertise with OmniStudio, including:
  • OmniScripts
  • DataRaptors
  • Integration Procedures
  • FlexCards
• Experience designing enterprise integrations using Salesforce best practices and modern integration patterns.
• Strong understanding of enterprise security, governance, and compliance frameworks within public sector organizations.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills with experience presenting technical solutions to executive audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting FedRAMP High or Moderate environments.
• Knowledge of NIST security standards and government compliance frameworks.
• Experience with enterprise DevOps tools such as Copado, Flosum, or GitHub Actions.
• Previous experience supporting state government modernization initiatives, including permitting, licensing, inspections, or regulatory agencies.
• Experience working with the State of Michigan or other large public sector organizations is highly desirable.
