Position Overview

Myticas is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Architect to lead a comprehensive Salesforce security and architecture assessment within a financial services environment. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC), Agentforce, enterprise architecture, and Salesforce security.

This role will evaluate the existing Salesforce landscape, identify security and architectural risks, and develop actionable recommendations to strengthen data governance, access controls, integrations, identity management, encryption, and overall platform security.

The Senior Technical Architect will work closely with technical teams, enterprise stakeholders, and project leadership during US EST business hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Security Assessment: Perform comprehensive technical evaluations of the current Salesforce landscape, including Salesforce Core Platform components and Agentforce Financial Services Cloud configurations.
• Architecture Augmentation: Design and recommend robust security architecture enhancements covering data governance, role hierarchies, sharing rules, profiles, permission sets, and field-level security (FLS).
• Compliance & Integration: Assess API integrations, data flows, identity management—including SSO and OAuth—and platform encryption capabilities such as Salesforce Shield to support alignment with financial industry security standards.
• Technical Leadership: Serve as the subject matter expert on Salesforce security architecture and best practices, providing clear, actionable recommendations to enterprise stakeholders and project leadership.
• Risk & Remediation: Identify security gaps and architectural risks and develop practical threat mitigation and remediation strategies.
• Documentation: Produce comprehensive architectural assessments, recommendations, security findings, remediation plans, and technical documentation to support post-assessment implementation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Salesforce Financial Services Cloud & Agentforce

• Deep functional and architectural expertise in Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC).
• Strong understanding of Agentforce capabilities and their application within financial services environments.
• Experience designing Salesforce solutions that address financial services security, governance, and regulatory considerations.

Salesforce Enterprise Architecture

• Extensive experience with Salesforce enterprise architecture and system design.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce data modeling, transaction control, and platform architecture.
• Ability to assess complex Salesforce environments and translate findings into scalable architectural solutions.

Salesforce Security

• Proven experience in Salesforce security architecture and risk assessment.
• Strong expertise in:
  • Object-level and field-level security (FLS)
  • Profiles and permission sets
  • Role hierarchies and sharing rules
  • Apex/programmatic sharing
  • Data governance and access controls
  • Audit logging and monitoring
  • Risk identification and mitigation
  • Platform encryption and Salesforce Shield

Integration & Identity

• Experience evaluating Salesforce APIs, integrations, and enterprise data flows.
• Strong understanding of identity and access management, including SSO and OAuth.
• Ability to assess integration architecture from a security, governance, and compliance perspective.

Communication & Stakeholder Management

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical risks, security findings, and architectural decisions to both technical teams and executive stakeholders.
• Comfortable serving as a trusted technical advisor and subject matter expert.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with distributed teams during US EST business hours.
