Our banking client is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Technical Advisor – CMDB to support and enhance their Service Management platform. This role will focus on CMDB optimization, data quality, and technical leadership across the ServiceNow ecosystem. Must be eligible to obtain Reliability Security Clearance
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CMDB assessments and develop enhancement/stabilization roadmaps
- Improve CMDB data quality, governance, and integrity
- Troubleshoot and enhance CMDB integrations and interfaces
- Develop and maintain technical project plans and provide status reporting
- Create epics, user stories, and technical documentation
- Support transition from development to operations
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to stakeholders
- Identify opportunities for ServiceNow automation/AI to improve efficiency
- Collaborate across technical and business teams throughout delivery lifecycle
Required Experience:
- 5+ years as a ServiceNow Technical Lead on implementations
- 5+ years hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB
- Strong knowledge of CMDB data model, CI lifecycle, and relationship mapping
- Experience with Discovery, Service Mapping, and integrations impacting CMDB
- Experience with CMDB data governance (KPIs, reconciliation, normalization)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience with ServiceNow automation and AI capabilities
- Exposure to governance, security, and compliance in regulated environments
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Additional Requirements:
- Must be eligible to obtain Reliability Security Clearance
- Must reside in Canada (minimum 5 years)
- Must have suitable remote setup (Windows 11 device, high-speed internet, MFA capability)
