- Develop and maintain custom Shopify backend applications, services, and platform extensions within Shopify and Shopify Plus environments.
- Configure and customize Shopify platform functionality to support evolving retail and eCommerce business requirements.
- Design, develop, and support integrations between Shopify and enterprise systems including ERP, CRM, OMS, WMS, payment, inventory, fulfillment, and marketing platforms.
- Build and maintain Shopify Admin API, GraphQL API, REST API, and webhook-based solutions.
- Develop custom Shopify apps, private apps, and backend services to extend platform capabilities.
- Create scalable integration solutions using Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, middleware platforms, and microservices architectures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex Shopify application, integration, data synchronization, and platform performance issues.
- Optimize backend applications for scalability, security, reliability, maintainability, and operational efficiency.
- Support data migration, ETL, synchronization, and platform modernization initiatives across the Shopify ecosystem.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, and technical teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate in solution architecture, technical design, code reviews, testing, deployment, and release management activities.
- Develop and maintain integrations with SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, and other enterprise applications.
- Utilize Git, CI/CD pipelines, Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and cloud-native development approaches.
- Work within cloud environments including AWS, Azure, and GCP to support Shopify-related applications and integrations.
- Leverage expertise in eCommerce operations including order management, inventory management, fulfillment, payments, customer data, and retail business processes.
