- Strong hunter mindset – proven net-new business development
- 5–8 years in technical sales or engineering-facing roles
- Experience selling into OEMs, contract manufacturers, engineering teams
- Ability to engage engineers and lead technical discussions credibly
- Design-in / solution-based selling experience preferred
- Track record growing accounts and expanding customer penetration
- Experience with component manufacturers or rep firm environments
- Mechanical aptitude – able to read and interpret drawings
- Working knowledge of electrical principles (interconnects, PCB, power)
- Bilingual French & English required (Montreal market)
- Comfortable owning and growing an underserved / greenfield territory
- Strong relationship builder across engineering, procurement, stakeholders
- Self-driven, consultative, autonomous (field-based / home office)
- Able to manage pipeline, territory planning, and customer engagement consistently
