Location: Ottawa or Montreal (Hybrid)
Mandatory: Candidates must hold or be eligible for a Secret Level Canadian Federal Government Issued Clearance.
Skills & Requirements
- Senior Level Web Backend Technologies (Such-as: Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, nginx, Django, GraphQL)
- Senior Level Python Experience + SQL querying
- Database Expertise (PostgreSQL) and Object storage (MinIO, AWS S3),
- Transformation systems, experience: ETL, ELT, DBT, FME
- Cluster technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, Argo Workflows
- Cloud Experience with some of the following services, AWS S3, EKS
- Gitlab and Git – SW Dev tool experience
- CICD Development experience, including Test-Driven Development,
- Experience with GIS systems (QGIS, GeoTIFF, Titiler)
- Experience with database schema migration (Django migration, Alembic),
- Exposure to aerospace or remote sensing
- Documentation Experience
- French/English Bilingual (Nice to Have)
